Scott’s interest in making things that “work” started early in his childhood. His first tool bench with its original vice is still in his shop at home. A local entrepreneur recognized Scott’s mechanical aptitude and hired him at age 16. 27 years later, Scott bought his first CNC Mill and started working from his home garage. Soon after,
Vision Machine
opened its doors in 2011. With 35 years of experience, Scott’s done it all and his customers know it. If “Butch can’t figure it out, nobody can.”
Scott lives in Grandy, Minnesota with his wife, Deanna and 3 children. He’s an avid land conservationist and tree farmer. In his spare time, he can be seen in his excavator, digging somewhere on the property with his best dog by his side.
